Stāsts pārdomām no tikainesakinevienam.lv

wishing well

When the sky is torn, the feelings are reborn
Like the passing rain, this moment will fade away
And so I try to find my water all by myself
It's so dry
I won't stop to cry

Black Sabbath › Wishing Well

Throw me a penny and Ill make you a dream
You find that lifes not always what it seems, no no
Then think of a rainbow and Ill make it come real
Roll me, Im a never ending wheel
Ill give you a star
So you know just where you are
Dont you know that I might be
Your wishing well
Your wishing well

Look in the water, tell me what do you see
Reflections of the love you give to me
Love isnt money, its not something you buy
So let me fill myself with tears you cry, why?

Time is a never ending journey
Love is a never ending smile
Give me a sign to build a dream on
Dream on...

Yeah, throw me a penny and Ill make you a dream
You find that lifes not always what it seems, no no
Love isnt money, its not something you buy
So let me fill myself with tears you cry

Ill give you a star
So you know just where you are
Someday, some way, youll feel the things I say
Dream for a while
Of the things that make you smile
cause you know
Dont you know
Oh, you know
That Im your wishing well
Your wishing well
Your wishing well
I wish you well
Im your wishing well

Terence Trent D'Arby » Wishing Well

Kissing like a bandit
Stealing time
Underneath a sycamore tree
Cupid by the hour sends
Valentines
To my sweet lover and me
Slowly
But surely
Your appetite is more than I knew
Sweetly
Softly
I'm falling in love with you

Wish me love a wishing well
To kiss and tell
A wishing well of butterfly tears
Wish me love a wishing well
To kiss and tell
A wishing well of crocodile cheers

Hugging like a monkey see
Monkey do
Right beside a riverboat gambler
Erotic images float through my head
So I wanna be
Your midnight rambler
Quickly
Quickly
The blood races through my veins
Quickly
Loudly
I wanna hear those sugar bells ring

Wish me love a wishing well
To kiss and tell
A wishing well of butterfly tears
Wish me love a wishing well
To kiss and tell
A wishing well of crocodile cheers

vīrieši :D

1. Ja tu domā, ka tu esi resna, tad tu droši vien tāda arī esi.
1. Iemācies pati apieties ar tualetes vāku, tu jau esi liela meitene. Ja tas ir pacelts, tad nolaid to.
1. Negriez matus. Nekad. Gari mati vienmēr izskatās pievilcīgāk, nekā īsi. Viens no iemesliem, kādēļ vīriešiem ir bail precēties, ir ka precētas sievietes apgriež savus matus. Bet tad jau ir par vēlu.
1. Ir brīži, kad mēs nedomājam par jums. Samierinieties ar to.
Tās dēļ nav jāiet ārā no istabas.
1. Tev ir pietiekoši daudz drēbju. Tev ir par daudz kurpju.
1. Raudāšana ir šantāža.
1. Tavs iepriekšējais džeks ir idiots.
1. Ja tu kaut ko gribi, prasi. Viegli mājieni nedarbojas. Stipri mājieni nedarbojas. Acīmredzami mājieni nedarbojas. Vienkārši pasaki to!
1. Mēs neatceramies datumus. Atzīmējiet jubilejas kalendārā. Pirms tām pietiekoši bieži mums atgādiniet.
1. Lielākajai daļai vīriešu ir ap 3 pāriem kurpju. Kādēļ jūs domājiet, ka mēs esam kvalificēti palīdzēt jums izvēlēties, kuras no 30 labi izskatās pie jūsu kleitas?
1. Nerīvē lampu, ja negribi, lai džins lien laukā.
1. Jūs variet vai nu palūgt mums kaut ko izdarīt, vai pastāstīt, ko jūs rezultātā gribat. Ja jūs zināt, kā to izdarīt vislabāk- dariet to pašas.
1. Ja jums kaut kas ir sakāms, dariet to reklāmas pauzēs.
1. Kas, pie velna, ir "raukšana"?

laimīgs

Ir jāprot sajust leduspuķu smarža,
Ir jāprot noplūkt tās un dāvāt cilvēkiem.
Ir jāprot sajust - kāda vēja garša -
Un tikai tad mūs sauks par laimīgiem…

Martyr of the Keyboard

I'm a Martyr of the Keyboard By Ben Heine and Peter S Quin

© 2008 BenHeine

I'm a Martyr of the Keyboard
By Peter S Quinn (*)
I type all day long
Into the request deep
Sometimes it’ll ping-pong
Right into my sleep
I'm a martyr of the keyboard
Going down deep under
To the alphabet lord
God of the ticktick thunder!

I'll type for a request
Just to please and be ready
I'll try to do my best
If my fingers go on steady
This and that comes out
I have no complete control
Automation knows its ways about
Around the ‘key-mole’
And keyhole.
I type all day to spark
And give it a steady beat
But sometimes it’ll all lack
Except its little tweet
This maybe a dark poetry read
With not much in deeper meaning
But to somewhere it will lead
In a steady and closerScreening

(*) Peter has been very prolific,
- with more than 15 thousand music works /instrumental songs, and over 10 thousand poems and lyrics.
You can find nearly 7 thousand music works and more than 5 thousand poems and lyrics by him on the internet.
The poem was created by Peter S Quinn for this particular image.
Thank you Peter.

Vatican Cardinal: Gaza like Nazi Camp

Readers Number : 132

08/01/2009 Israel on Wednesday slammed a senior Vatican official for comparing the Gaza Strip to a "concentration camp," saying the comments were "based on Hamas propaganda."

"Making remarks that seem to be based on Hamas propaganda while ignoring its numerous crimes ... does not bring the people closer to truth and peace," foreign ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said.

Cardinal Renato Martino, the Vatican's justice and peace minister, was quoted by the online Italian daily Il Sussidiario as saying the conditions in Gaza "increasingly resemble a big concentration camp."

On Tuesday Pope Benedict XVI said he wanted to encourage efforts to get Israelis and Palestinians to sit down together in 'peace talks' over the Gaza conflict. Benedict was speaking to visitors and tourists in St. Peter's Square.

The pope said he was following the news of the armed clashes in Gaza with "strong worry." He repeated his warning that hate and rejection of dialogue only lead to war.

Benedict added he is encouraging all efforts and initiatives by those who want peace, and who are trying to help Israelis and Palestinians to sit down and talk. The Vatican has said the pope would like to go the Holy Land on a pilgrimage this spring, but no concrete plans have been made.

Israel Seeks to Exploit Delay, Impose New Status Quo'

Hussein Assi Readers Number : 171

03/01/2009 Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah renewed on Saturday the comparison between what had been happening in Gaza during the few previous hours and the Israeli July 2006 against Lebanon, expressing belief that the Palestinian Resistance had actually learned from Lebanon's Resistance and would do well. His eminence said that a new victory was being for the Resistance approach would be achieved.

Sayyed Nasrallah was speaking through a large screen as he marked the seventh night of Ashoura at the Sayyed Shouhadaa complex in Beirut's southern suburb (Dahiyeh).

His eminence declared that Israeli incursions in Gaza were aimed at slicing Gaza and imposing a new status quo in the besieged strip. "This is not new, we experienced in 2006 in Lebanon and we were able to overcome it," Sayyed Nasrallah said, noting that the incursions were benefiting from the delay given to Israeli officials to accomplish their mission.

On Friday, Sayyed Nasrallah has criticized the Arab leaders for their stance over the aggression, calling on them to, at least, let their people express themselves freely and declare solidarity with their Palestinian brothers. "Arab FMs Gave Israel Until Monday to Achieve Mission," his eminence declared, noting at the same time that, if the Israelis failed to achieve the recommended mission by Monday, "then this doesn't mean that they won't be given another delay."

Meanwhile, the Resistance leader emphasized that what had been taking place and would take place during the few coming hours is identical to what took place during the last days of the July war. "The Israeli government is seeking to impose a new status quo and create new data to be exploited in a potential international resolution," his eminence explained.

Sayyed Nasrallah assured Palestinians and Arabs, stressing that whenever there is Resistance against the ground operation, then it would be able to change everything on the ground. Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated that bargaining on the Resistance's defeat will fail, calling on the whole nation to unite against the aggression. "What's taking place in Gaza is defense of all the Arabs' and their convictions," his eminence said, calling upon everyone to bet on the Resistance, its will and determination.

His eminence said that there was no logic in the Zionist entity's policy, recalling that the entity that adopted tyranny since its creation has actually displaced and forced the Palestinian nation to leave their land.

Sayyed Nasrallah began his speech by exploring furthermore the notion of human responsibility in life. His eminence stressed that people were responsible of all their acts, rejecting all claims of "forcing" or "obliging" people to achieve specific things or oppressing and treating unjustly others.

The Resistance leader also pointed to the principle of Jihad and fighting in general. "Fighting under the rule of one plus one equals two might not lead to an outcome," his eminence said, stressing on the importance of the religious factor in this context. "God will give you the support and assistance," his eminence noted.

Sayyed Nasrallah criticized the phenomenon of predictions and expectations, witnessed on TVs mainly at the New Year's Eve. "We believe that movement of planets, astronomy and orbits have no effect in the human's fate and destiny," his eminence stressed.

Israel Launches Ground Op, Hamas Warns of High Price

03/01/2009 … And on the eighth day of the deadliest offensive against the Palestinians in the Gaza strip, the Israeli occupation ground troops have entered the Gaza Strip, announcing the start of a second stage in the deadliest offensive against Palestinians amid a suspicious Arab and international silence.

According to an army spokesman, Israeli ground units, backed by helicopters, penetrated on Saturday evening into the Gaza Strip. "I can confirm that Israeli troops have gone in," she said. Witnesses inside Gaza Strip said soldiers had entered the territory in the north.

According to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office, the Zionist entity aims to "take over" areas in Gaza from where Resistance fighters have launched rockets into Israel. "The Israel Defense Forces (army) is planning to take over rocket launching areas from where rockets have been fired over the past weeks and months," it claimed in a statement. The goals of the operation include "dealing a hard blow to the Hamas terror infrastructure and changing the security reality in the south over a long period of time," it added.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army warned Gaza residents against hiding "terrorists" in reference to Resistance fighters. "Anyone who hides a terrorist or weapons in his house is considered a terrorist," claimed an occupation army statement released after troops moved into Gaza.

Yet, Israeli tanks opened fire on random positions after entering the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday and Hamas forces replied with mortar fire, witnesses said. Residents in the Gaza town of Beit Lahiya said the tanks opened fire shortly after crossing the border late Saturday.

Only minutes following the beginning of the operation, a Palestinian child was martyred by Israeli tank fire in the Gaza Strip late Saturday, becoming the first victim of the ground offensive against the Gaza strip, medics said. Eleven other children were wounded in the strike, when a tank shell hit a house in eastern Gaza City, Gaza medics said.

However, the Resistance seemed ready to the offensive and vowed to retaliate. Hamas's armed wing vowed that Israel would pay a "high price" for the ground operation it has launched on the Resistance movement's Gaza Strip stronghold. "The enemy will pay a high price for its operation in northern Gaza Strip," said a statement from Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades read out on the movement's Al-Aqsa television station.

Earlier during the day, Israeli officials seemed perplexed over the potential move and its usefulness. In this context, Israeli daily Haaretz wondered, in an analysis, whether air strikes were enough, or is a ground op needed in Gaza.

The daily noted that the challenges faced by the Israeli officials at this stage were exactly the same they faced in the July 2006 war against Lebanon. "Two and a half years of a lull, six days of fighting, and we are almost back where we started. The dilemma faced by Israel's decision makers this week is not all that different from the one that hounded them (in some cases it's the same people) throughout most of the Second Lebanon War: To enter or not to enter?" the daily said.

"But those who sought to apply the lessons of Winograd in their entirety appear to have overlooked a few critical elements, and those lacunae are liable to have an effect on the final result, adding that "it became apparent once again that the personal element ("What will people say about me at the end of the war?" "How can I play up my part at the expense of my rival in the government/General Staff?") plays a tremendous role in the behavior of the decision makers and sometimes affects the decisions themselves."

"The dilemma, in a nutshell, is this: Is the heavy pounding from the air enough, or will Hamas simply rise out of the ruins later, shake off the dust and declare, as Hezbollah did in 2006, that it succeeded in surviving against the army that purports to be the strongest in the Middle East? And if ground forces enter, will they inflict on Hamas sufficient damage to force the organization to moderate its demands in cease-fire talks, or will the operation get bogged down, slide into mass killing of Palestinian civilians, cost the IDF dearly in casualties and erode the internal consensus in Israel?" Haaretz went on to say, proving the level of hesitation and fear it has come to.

fucken israel!!!!!!! killers!!!!!!!!!!!

03/01/2009 … And the Zionist criminality continues!

One week on the deadliest offensive against Palestinians in the Gaza strip that claimed the lives of more than 450 lives, the Zionist entity launched its ground operation in the Gaza strip, killing a child just minutes after its soldiers penetrated to the strip, and warning that the operation would last for "long days."

Yet, the Israelis who seemed perplexed, anxious and concerned over the usefulness of such a move, sought to affirm the opposing, declaring readiness to all possibilities.

For this purpose, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak who, until this moment, didn't forget the defeat he has been subject to in Lebanon during the July 2006 war, sought to say he was ready for opening the borders. "We are ready for any developments on the Lebanese border," Barak claimed.

The Israeli defense minister, meanwhile, called on the Israelis to accept the fact that many soldier will be killed stressing that the operation wouldn't be easy.

And also for the eighth consecutive day, world capitals witnessed massive rallies in solidarity with Gaza against the Zionist criminality, calling upon the international community to assume its responsibilities.

One of the major demonstrations was witnessed in the northern town of Sakhnin (Arabs of 48) where around one hundred thousand people demonstrated over the Israeli offensive. Crowds waving Palestinian flags and brandishing pro-Palestinian placards chanted "Gaza will not surrender to the tanks and bulldozers!" and "Don't fear, Gaza, we are with you!"
Following a minute's silence, Sakhnin Mayor Mazem Ghanaim called for an immediate halt to the Gaza offensive. "The Israeli occupation forces is conducting crimes in Gaza before the eyes of the international community. We call for an immediate stop to the Gaza offensive," Ghanaim told the crowd.

In France, demonstrators turned out in their thousands Saturday to condemn Israeli attacks on Gaza. In Paris police put the number of those marching through the French capital at more than 6,000, while the organizers estimated 25,000 took part. In the southern city of Nice police said there were 3,000 demonstrators while organizers claimed 5,000. In Toulouse in the southwest the figure was put at between 600 and 800 and at Perpignan close to the border with Spain at between 1,000 and 1,500.

Thousands of demonstrators marched through London on Saturday to protest against the Israeli offensive on Gaza. Many people carried Palestinian flags and some chanted "Free, free Palestine" and "Israel terrorists" as they filed along the River Thames towards Trafalgar Square. Police said up to 6,000 people took part, but organizers the Stop the War Coalition estimated the crowd at around 50,000.

Hundreds also marched through the streets of Madrid on Saturday to call for an end to Israel's air attacks on the Gaza Strip. The protesters, mostly Arabs, began their spontaneous march after a demonstration outside the Spanish foreign ministry. "Justice for Palestine" and "This is not a war but a genocide" were amongst the messages on display on signs. Some marchers called out "murderers" while others waved shoes in the air.

In Kuwait, more than 2,000 Kuwaitis and Arab residents demonstrated on Saturday against Israel's deadly strikes on Gaza Strip, calling on Arab regimes to help Palestinians. Protesters chanted "Death to Israel" and "Death to America," and carried banners in support of the Resistance Hamas movement, criticizing what they called "Arab silence towards the Israeli massacre." Demonstrators called on Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to open the only border crossing point with the Gaza Strip in order to allow aid to pass to around 1.5 million Palestinians living in Gaza.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Afghans marched in new demonstrations Saturday against Israel's deadly strikes on the Gaza Strip, with protesters in the capital also demanding that US occupation troops pull out of Afghanistan. In Kabul, up to 600 demonstrators marched in the city centre, holding banners that read "Israel commits crimes, America supports," and shouting "Death to Israel" and "Death to America." In the eastern city of Jalalabad, up to 400 people took to the streets to condemn the attacks, accusing the United Nations of failing to act, witnesses said. Hundreds more protested in the town of Charikar, north of Kabul, according to Afghan media.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators have pelted Cypriot riot police with rocks, sticks, shoes and oranges near the Israeli embassy in Nicosia. Some protesters tried to pull away barbed wire and break through a line of riot police blocking a road leading to the Israeli embassy.

Meanwhile, Lybia announced that it will send 5,500 tons of food and medical supplies to Gaza by boat. The shipment is expected to arrive in Egypt Tuesday, and from there to be transferred to the Strip. Earlier Syria announced it would send 230 tons of food and medical supplies to Gaza.

Sayyed Nasrallah: Palestinian Resistance Will Triumph

Hussein Assi Readers Number : 1418

31/12/2008 Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah reiterated on Wednesday that Israel’s deadliest offensive against Gaza launched since Saturday was identical to what had taken place in Lebanon during the July 2006 war and expected that the Palestinian Resistance would achieve victory and the Zionist entity would be defeated once again. His eminence stressed that the Palestinian Resistance was still tenacious and solid, pointing out that its base wasn't affected by the massacres committed until now.

Sayyed Nasrallah was speaking through a large screen as he marked the fourth night of Ashoura at the Sayyed Shouhadaa complex in Beirut's southern suburb (Dahiyeh).

His eminence explained that there was more than one aspect in the offensive against Gaza, noting that the air raids against Palestinians, the martyrs who are falling and the destruction which is taking place do not constitute the whole picture. Sayyed Nasrallah praised the Palestinian Resistance for its steadfastness and firmness and the Gaza people for their sense of responsibility and support for the Resistance.

The Resistance leader noted that the Palestinian Resistance was benefiting from the July 2006 war better than the Israelis, noting that the lessons are making the Israelis appear even weaker. His eminence underscored that the Israelis didn't have any "declared goal" for their war on Gaza. "In Lebanon, they had announced big objectives since the first day but they failed to achieve any of them," Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out, noting that for these reasons, they (Israelis) seem really perplexed in Gaza. "They didn't even declare that they seek to topple the Hamas government or put an end to the Resistance status," his eminence said. "They don't even dare to say that they aim at preventing resistance factions from launching rockets," his eminence noted, ridiculing the "rubber title" of "changing the situation in the ground."

"Israelis doubt their own ability to achieve the goals and this is complete failure," Sayyed Nasrallah stressed. He added that the Palestinian Resistance seems, in contrast, committed to victory. His eminence expected that the Resistance would triumph at the end given that time was not in Israel's interest, recalling that air raids could not settle the battle.

Sayyed Nasrallah uncovered an international plot to impose a humiliating settlement on Palestinians, saying that Hamas was the only obstacle for such a conspiracy. "They are preparing for an international conference to be attended by Americans, Israelis, Europeans and the so-called moderate Arabs in order to end the conflict and impose a humiliating settlement on Palestinians," his eminence asserted.

However, Sayyed Nasrallah expressed belief that the Palestinian Resistance was strong and would achieve victory just like the Resistance in Lebanon did in August 2006.
“Let’s go back to the first day of the operation and the scenario of war. It’s the same scenario of 2006. However in Lebanon, Allah had mercy on us and we managed to capture two Israeli soldiers on the 12th of July, otherwise the war was intended to begin in autumn of 2006 and it would have been similar to the war on Gaza. Gaza received assurances that there will not be an aggression on it, and suddenly within a matter of 3 minutes, 60 fighter jets and 20 helicopters drop more than 100 tons of explosives on the Strip.
A large number of martyr fell and this happens during wars, but what’s important is that the resistance absorbed the first strike and came out tenacious and solid. Colluding Arab states, and I insist on this, have told the Israeli not to take the same trend that they adopted in Lebanon, where they extended the war for 33 day and eventually failed. Those Arab states told Israel that they have to end the war in Gaza within a few days because they cannot tolerate daily demos and media pressure. It was supposed that the air strike would lead to the breakdown of Hamas and resistance factions and then the resistance would contact concerned Arab states to tell them: ‘we cant go on, find a way to fix the situation.’ This was the scenario. Moreover, when Israel’s agents in Gaza or some Arab states inform the Zionist entity that the resistance in the strip has collapsed, Israel kicks off its ground operation; this should have ended in a few days according to their scheme. But the resistance is still solid and strong.
You know that when one rocket or one hundred rockets fall on Israeli settlements, they have to follow strict procedures. There are elections in the few coming days. The Palestinian resistance has managed to force hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers into shelters and shut down universities and factories.
This Gaza, although deemed weak, is putting today 208 settlements and 635 thousands Israelis in the danger zone," his eminence said.

“There remains the ground operation. I can’t say whether Israel will launch a ground operation or not. Yet, it is clear until this moment that the Israelis are hesitant. The ground operation comes as elections are due in a few days. If they triumph in a ground battle, it’s for their benefit, but if they were defeated, it will result in a political set back for them. They will either win or loose; they are not sure of winning and they fear loosing, at least this is what they political and military analysts say. Indeed, the responsibility of any defeat will lie on the shoulders of Barack and Livni along with her Kadima party. And then Netanyahu will emerge to seize the moment and say: ‘if I were PM I would have succeeded and achieved this and that.’ Therefore, this is a true matter of concern for the Israeli, especially that a ground battle in Gaza, on the resistance level, does not need extraordinary capabilities and from what I know, the resistance there has the will and determination to confront the ground offensive. The Israelis have the right to be hesitant and worried when it comes to storming ito Gaza. When the ground operation begins, and the real confrontation begins, the Israeli fiasco will become clear and the voices of the Israelis will rise. Until this very moment, I can say that what is taking place in Gaza is similar to what had taken place in Lebanon in 2006. If resistance fighters persist as our fighters did, victory will be waiting for them. Time is not in Israel’s interest and the street is pressuring Israel and all colluding regimes. Because of resistance and steadfastness, because of rejecting compromises or surrender, the Gaza strip is already triumphing and Israel is witnessing defeat," Sayyed Nasrallah declared, calling on everyone to believe in the Palestinian Resistance and back it through all possible means. His eminence renewed his calls to the Arab regimes to support Gaza and the Egyptian government to open the Rafah crossing for Palestinians.

Sayyed Nasrallah recalled that a majority of Lebanese has assumed responsibility and fought against occupation until throwing it out. "This national sense of responsibility allowed the Resistance to persist and develop since 1985." The resistance leader renewed commitment to the choice of Resistance. "It's not that we want to have a Resistance or weapons, but it's our responsibility to be committed to the Resistance," his eminence said, recalling that Lebanese had two choices "to live with honor and dignity or with degradation, and if we choose dignity, then we’ll have responsibilities to assume."

Sayyed Nasrallah began his speech by focusing on the notion of "responsibility". He pointed that responsibility wasn't limited to a specific geographic surrounding or dimension. His eminence stressed that as human beings are given mind, freedom, choice and will; this means that they have responsibilities to shoulder.

Sayyed Nasrallah tackled the issue of "greenhouse effect," noting that it constitutes nowadays one of the toughest challenges within the international community. His eminence pointed to a role for the US administration or the "greatest Satan" in this field, stressing that the US crimes are not limited to invading Iraq and Afghanistan but extend to the environmental cause. "The US is, until today, refusing to engage into any agreement that would restrict the Greenhouse effect due to the American greediness and avarice," his eminence said. "No matter how many millions of people are killed, the important thing for the American administration is that US companies continue manufacturing and earn ill-gotten gains," Sayyed Nasrallah added, warning that such gains would lead one day to cause the biggest catastrophe for the American administration.
