15/05/2008 Hezbollah condemned in a statement Wednesday the participation of US President George W. Bush in the "international celebration" to mark the creation of the Zionist state. "Bush's participation expresses repudiation of the national rights of the Palestinian people," the statement marking 60 years of usurping Palestine said. Hezbollah renewed it warning against Bush's dangerous scheme to declare Judaization of the so called "state of Israel" and his endeavor to found a compensations fund to later relinquish the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.

The statement added that Bush visit to occupied Palestine is clear evidence to his endeavor to eliminate all the factors of concern and fear on Israel's security and existence, particularly after the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine defeated this entity despite unlimited international and US support.
Hezbollah emphasized that the age of Israeli victories is over and the era of defeats for the occupier and the return of rights to its owners has begun.

The Hezbollah statement also pointed to US attempts to cause division within this nation and distract them from their real enemy, namely the US occupation in Iraq and the Israeli occupation in Palestine.
Hezbollah stressed the Palestinian cause is the central cause for the whole nation and renewed its pledge to stand by the Palestinian people in their just cause to gain back their land and their sanctities.
