Lebanese Army Revokes Ruling Bloc Decisions

Leb Army Officially Requests 'Govt' Revokes Decisions Readers Number : 155 10/05/2008 In light of entrusting the Lebanese army with looking into the two controvesial decisions by Fouad Saniora's unconstitutional government, the army command said in a statement that it was revoking the pertaining to the Airport's security and the communications network of Hezbollah, and called for the withdrawal of armed militants from the streets. It said the head of the airport security, Wafik Shqier, would remain in his post and that the army would look into Hezbollah's communications network. The army also instructed all army units to take necessary measures to preserve security.
