09/06/2008 Lebanon's President Michel Suleiman on Sunday paid a protocol visit to Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir at the latter’s residence in Bkirki.
The president stressed the meeting was "non-political," saying that he wanted to welcome the patriarch home from his tour in Africa and the United States.
Suleiman and Sfeir held a fifteen-minute closed meeting, after which the president reiterated that there were no difficulties in the formation of a national-unity government.
