15/07/2008 Two years after destroying Al-Manar TV building on the second day of the Israeli aggression in 2006, the station and Al-Manar’s internet site appeared on the 14th of July in a new look.

On that day in 2006, Israel leveled the Manar TV building in an attempt to silence the station during the war.

Al-Manar’s broadcast stopped for less than five minutes and then resumed as usual from undisclosed locations, what perplexed the enemy who failed throughout the aggression to silence the "Station of the Resistance". The site was bombed more than once during the war, the channel’s antennas were also targeted.

It was necessary for the Israeli enemy to silence Al-Manar for many reasons on top of which is Israel’s endeavor to spare itself a media war that could eventually expose its crimes, save its already cracking community from another psychological war and inspire the Lebanese people with its steadfastness. However Israel failed.

"This experiment symbols the ability of a person having faith in his cause to defy difficulties and challenges during the most dangerous moments, and how could he proceed in fulfilling his mission and duty", Al-Manar's General Director Abdullah Kassir said.

On the 2nd anniversary of the station’s complete destruction, Al-Manar TV and website wished to share the new look with their viewers on this glorious day, to challenge Israel’s tyrannical force and to highlight another triumph on this usurping entity.

YNET: HEZBOLLAH WON THE WAR BY KEEPING ITS WORD
And as a sign of victory, the Israeli daily Yediot Aharanot reported on Tuesday that "Hezbollah's al-Manar network has begun celebrating, marking the 33 days of victory.
"Through these clips, Hezbollah seeks to show that it won the war by keeping its word, as opposed to the Israeli side" Ynet reported.

Referring to Al-Manar website which activated its live streaming services during the July war, Ynet said that "Al-Manar's website has also begun celebrating the deal. At the beginning of its reports on the preparations in Lebanon, the website reminds its readers that 'in these very days in 2006, the resistance crushed the arrogance and aggressiveness of the occupation, and these days it completes its victory and returns the brave prisoners to Lebanon."

Al-Manar continues to be the channel of the resistance no matter what the challenges are.

On the 14th of July 2006, Israel’s stupid mistake proved that the station is as it was intended to be from the very beginning: The ever shining beacon.
